OSHA News for April
2020
Hello,
April seemed
endless with the lockdown in place. I tracked 57000 deaths from COVID19 in two
months. Hopefully treatment is better and antibody testing proves reliable.
I did nine live
streaming classes this month. I got to use MS teams, Adobe Connect, Zoom and
Blue Jeans. The challenge is being able to use hands on via the internet.
This month’s
powerpoint is hand safety. I see many hand injuries at manufacturers. I think
that proper placement of hands needs to be taught and watched for workers.
Impact resistance gloves are showing positive results at the places that I am
at.
Let’s hope the
virus deaths slow down in May. Stay safe and cover the face.
