I am hearing the plaintiff in the broken ladder case will get around $4 million settlement. Rust is a throw-out criteria for ladders. This can be easily covered in a short training session. Court was cancelled because the attorney who subpoenaed me as an unexpected expert witness found out the judge said he must pay me my published fee. It was a jury trial so the lawyer said he would not pay it since the trial was almost over. Then I got a call that I will not testify.
