OSHA News April 2025
OSHA News for April 2025
Hello,
April ends the period of four months at full speed. Now it will slow down.
It was good to see Paul Satti teach in the OSHA 502. He is a manager now at Fermilab.
OSHA offered buyouts to managers and National Office. I figure 100 people will take the buyouts. I will know next month.
Lee Martin left as Director of Whistleblower.
Heat Injury and Illness Prevention: OSHA announced a public hearing to be held on June 16 regarding the proposed rulemaking for heat injury and illness prevention (announced on April 16, 2025)
OSHA proposed $262,174 in penalties.to roofer in WI. The agency has inspected Almanza work sites 10 times and cited the contractor for similar violations.

I was deposed two weeks ago. I think it might get to trial. Not sure how that will go with a jury. Stay tuned.
Joe Marchigiani showed me the Heygen.com software that lets you to translate your video into any language. Accurate and great for that have international operations.
This Month's Powerpoint: Indoor Crane Safety. Not many fatalities with indoor cranes anymore. Getting hit with the load is the most frequent.
Stay cool as the temperatures rise.
